Job Descriptions:
1. Strategic Investment Oversight
- Investment Strategy: Develop and implement investment strategies for projects to align with the company’s long-term goals.
- Project Selection: Evaluate and approve investment projects based on strategic fit, financial returns, and risk profile.
2. Financial Management
- Financial Performance Monitoring: Track the financial performance of projects, using KPIs to assess progress and financial health.
- Investment Appraisal: Conduct financial analysis, including ROI, NPV, and payback period calculations, to assess the feasibility and performance of investment opportunities.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve financial performance without compromising project quality or outcomes.
3. Operational Control
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and oversee processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project execution, our project Kean Svay Plaza, Kampot Night Market, Kampong Cham Night Market, and Chenla Technology Center
- Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal allocation and use of resources (human, financial, and material) across all projects.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular operational performance reviews to ensure projects are on track and meeting objectives.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with different departments to streamline operations and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
4. Governance and Compliance
- Internal Controls: Establish and monitor strong internal control systems to protect assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Audit Coordination: Oversee internal and external audits related to projects and address audit findings.
- Ethical Standards: Promote culture of accountability and ethical in managing investments and operations.
5. Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, risk managers, and project controllers to drive high performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including board members, investors, and external partners. Provide clear and transparent updates on project investments and risk management.
- Decision-Making Support: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management for critical investment and operational decisions.
6. Process Improvement and Innovation
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve financial management, operational processes, and risk management.
- Technology Integration: Leverage technology and data analytics tools to enhance efficiency in project investment analysis and risk monitoring.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track performance metrics to measure the success of investment and risk management strategies.
Job Specifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields (operation, accounting, finance, risk, audit or business). 1 year in a supervisory role is a plus
- Analytical skills are required.
- Be able to work and communicate effectively with different stakeholders
- Be a team leader.
- Be honest, highly committed, and flexible.
- Able to work under pressure, independently as well as in a team.
- Able to go to provinces.
- Fluent in written and spoken Khmer and English; Chinese is a plus.
